SOC Tier 3 Analyst

Role Overview

TCS Israel is seeking a SOC Tier 3 Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) supporting a leading banking client in Jerusalem. This role focuses on advanced threat detection, incident response, SIEM/SOAR engineering, security automation, and continuous improvement of SOC operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the investigation and response to complex security incidents and cyber threats.
• Manage, configure, and optimize ArcSight SIEM, Cortex SOAR, and Splunk platforms.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring use cases, playbooks, dashboards, and reports.
• Perform threat hunting, threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and risk assessments.
• Automate SOC processes and workflows using Python and SOAR technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts.
• Support continuous enhancement of security monitoring and incident response capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of SOC experience, including Tier 3 Analyst or SOC Engineering responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with ArcSight SIEM, Cortex SOAR, and Splunk.
• Experience with security automation and Python scripting.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, threat modeling, and incident response processes.
• Experience with vulnerability management and threat analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 SOC environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or Security+.
• Experience in the banking or financial sector.
• Knowledge of endpoint, network, identity, and application security.
