What they need
About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to shape how two well-loved travel brands show up across social media and digital channels. You won’t just lead the content strategy-you’ll create content yourself, too.
As our Social & Content Specialist, you’ll be part of an energetic team of travel enthusiasts and you’ll lead the planning, hands-on creation and optimisation of content across our owned channels, creating engaging stories that inspire travel, grow our audiences, and support commercial success. Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, this role will play a critical part in launching and embedding our evolving brand positioning.
No two days in this role are the same. One day, you could be creating content in Canva; the next, shooting campervan content on the road; and the next, working with creators to capture their campervan travels across the US.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute engaging content strategies that build brand awareness, customer engagement, and commercial growth.
- Create compelling social-first content, including video, graphics and digital assets using Canva and other creative tools.
- Bringing our evolving brand positioning to life across every customer touchpoint.
- Own the planning and optimisation of our organic and paid social presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Manage content calendars, publishing schedules, and community engagement.
- Partner with agencies, creators, influencers, and production suppliers to deliver high-quality campaigns.
- Market it to global audiences, including adapting and localising content for different languages and market
- Explore and adopt emerging AI tools to enhance creative output, improve workflows, and increase campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and provide recommendations that improve engagement, reach and conversion.
About You
You will be someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on content creation, leveraging modern creative technologies, AI tools and social-first storytelling to deliver engaging, high-performing campaigns.
Ideally you’ll bring
- 5+ years' experience in content creation, or social media marketing.
- Strong hands-on content creation skills, particularly video and social-first creative.
- Experience launching a new brand, repositioning a brand or delivering major brand campaigns.
- A track record of creating content that grows audiences, drives engagement, and delivers measurable business outcomes.
- Experience using Canva (or similar), Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and content management tools.
- Experience working with agencies, creators, and influencers.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to experiment with new technologies and AI.
- A genuine passion for travel and creating content that inspires people to explore the world.
