Social Creative Lead | London (Hybrid) | Freelance to Perm | £70–80k

We're working with a young, fast-growing independent creative studio in London to find a Social Creative Lead who can develop ideas people genuinely want to spend time with.

This is an opportunity to join a small, ambitious, highly collaborative team working across integrated campaigns, social-first content, film, brand identity, and always-on communications for global brands.

The opportunity:

You'll initially lead creative development for a major global brand, working across social-first campaigns, content platforms and always-on creative, before contributing to the studio's wider client portfolio.

This is a genuinely hands-on role. You'll own creative responses from brief through to delivery, develop ideas, write scripts and narratives, present and sell the work, and collaborate closely with strategy, design, production and account teams.

You'll also help mentor junior creatives, raise creative standards and contribute to the continued development of the studio's social-first offering.

What we're looking for:

• An experienced Senior Creative, Creative Lead or Associate Creative Director from a social, content or integrated creative agency.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating social-first ideas, conceptual thinking and integrated creative execution.
• Excellent copywriting, storytelling and presentation skills.
• Someone who understands audiences, platforms and culture, and how brands can earn attention rather than simply follow trends.
• Experience developing content platforms, campaigns and always-on creative.
• The ability to translate complex information, research and insights into engaging, accessible creative.
• Experience leading creative workstreams, collaborating across disciplines and mentoring junior creatives.
• A genuinely hands-on approach, with the confidence to lead whilst remaining close to the creative work.

Experience across technology, healthcare, lifestyle or other complex sectors would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

The details:

• Location: Central London, hybrid – three days in the studio (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday).
• Contract: Initial six-month freelance/fixed-term contract, with the intention of moving into a permanent position.
• Permanent salary: £70,000–£80,000.
• Start: December preferred, or 5 January at the latest.
• Reporting to: Senior Creative Director.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for a socially native creative who enjoys bigger campaign thinking, has strong writing and conceptual skills, and wants to play a meaningful part in shaping a growing creative studio.
