  • Maintain a rolling social media content calendar, supporting the Brand and Content Manager in developing the wider content plan
  • Collaborate with the Media Manager to align the social strategy with the wider paid media approach
  • Develop and maintain social media guidelines, covering approved channels, formats, and tone of voice, and support marketing teams in applying them consistently
  • Identify opportunities to improve social media practices across divisions, and share knowledge through training sessions and knowledge-share events
  • Stay informed on trends and innovations in digital marketing and social media, bringing relevant opportunities to the team

Social Media Management

  • Manage all Client social media accounts, including content scheduling, audience engagement, and ongoing optimisation
  • Monitor content presentation across channels and conduct regular audits to ensure alignment with brand and content guidelines
  • Create and curate platform-appropriate content that is consistent with [Client]'s brand tone and visual identity
  • Collaborate with agencies and third-party content creators to develop and execute promotional and campaign content
  • Support influencer and ambassador campaigns in line with the social strategy

Budget and Production Management

  • Raise purchase orders and invoices, ensuring all creative costs are correctly logged in Client's systems
  • Track and report on social content production spend, supporting budget administration alongside the wider team

Reporting and Optimisation

  • Define KPIs and benchmarks to measure performance against social objectives
  • Analyse social media performance and translate data into clear, actionable insights — preparing regular performance reports for internal stakeholders
  • Continuously monitor channel performance and identify opportunities to refine the social strategy

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Experience developing and executing social media strategies that build brand awareness and drive measurable engagement
  • Strong working knowledge of major social platforms and their respective content best practices
  • Proven ability to manage agencies and third-party content creators to deliver quality content on time and on brief
  • An analytical approach to social — comfortable interpreting performance data and translating it into informed decisions
  • Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines without losing attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and align cross-functional teams around shared priorities
  • Experience raising purchase orders and supporting production budget administration
  • Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to social media and content, used to enhance output quality and efficiency
  • Experience developing personal AI workflows to improve content planning, scheduling, or reporting
  • An agentic approach to problem-solving — able to break complex briefs into clear, actionable steps and adapt when priorities shift
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply sound editorial and brand judgement before publishing
