Contract Type: Fixed-term project-based contract (Contrato por Obra o Labor).

Position Overview

Seeking a Junior Social Performance Consultant with up to 3 years of experience to support social impact, stakeholder engagement, human rights, and social due diligence projects across sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, mining, and oil & gas. The role requires advanced English and knowledge of international standards, particularly IFC Performance Standards and the Equator Principles and DD.HH.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management and delivery of social performance projects.
• Conduct social impact assessments, social due diligence, and baseline studies.
• Identify and assess social risks and impacts.
• Support stakeholder engagement activities with communities and other key stakeholders.
• Participate in Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) assessments.
• Evaluate compliance with IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, and other international frameworks.
• Analyze social, political, and community contexts relevant to project development.
• Prepare technical reports and client deliverables in English and Spanish.
• Support fieldwork, stakeholder consultations, and project coordination activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, Social Sciences, Psychology, International Relations, or related fields.
• Up to 3 years of experience in social performance, stakeholder engagement, human rights, sustainability, or community relations.
• Knowledge of IFC Performance Standards , Equator Principles , and Human Rights Due Diligence .
• Experience or exposure to infrastructure, energy, mining, or oil & gas projects is preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken - Mandatory).
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Availability to travel as required.
