About us
Student Volunteer Army began in 2011, when Christchurch students turned up to help their city recover from the earthquakes. Nobody had to ask them twice. Fifteen years on, we've grown into a national network supporting tens of thousands of students to volunteer safely, meaningfully, and together, and our mission hasn't changed: build the next generation of community
