What they need

Location: Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid)
Type: Full-Time Contract (3 Months)

Ubiquity Creative Group is looking for a Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our team and help us create, test, post, and grow content across personal brands, internal media brands, and select client accounts.

This is a very hands-on role.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely lives on social media. You understand what makes someone stop scrolling, you're constantly finding new content ideas, you notice trends before everyone starts talking about them, and you're comfortable actually creating the content, not just planning it.

A major part of this role will be supporting the growth of a personal brand through high-volume content testing, Instagram Trials, editing, posting, community engagement, and performance analysis.

The other half will support Ubiquity's internal media brands and select client work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Personal Brand & Content Testing

A major part of your role will be helping manage and grow a personal brand.

You’ll:

  • Research and source content ideas, trends, formats, hooks, and inspiration
  • Help turn ideas into scripts and short-form concepts
  • Edit short-form videos using CapCut
  • Create multiple variations of content to test different hooks, edits, lengths, text, audio, and formats
  • Manage and post Instagram Trials
  • Track Trial performance and identify what is and isn’t working
  • Use insights from previous posts to improve future content
  • Help manage the day-to-day posting of the account
  • Capture content using an iPhone when needed

We don't want someone who posts something and moves on.

We want someone who gets excited about testing Version 2, Version 3 and Version 4 to figure out what actually performs.

Community & Brand Partnerships

You’ll also help with:

  • Responding to comments and engaging with the community
  • Identifying opportunities to engage with other creators and brands
  • Researching potential brand partnerships
  • Conducting outreach to brands and potential partners
  • Helping keep conversations and opportunities organized

Internal Media Brands

You’ll support the growth of Ubiquity’s internal social and media brands through:

  • Shooting & Editing green-screen and short-form content
  • Researching trending stories and content opportunities
  • Helping develop hooks and content ideas
  • Editing and preparing videos for social
  • Posting content across our pages
  • Monitoring performance and identifying winning formats
  • Supporting ongoing content experimentation

Agency & Client Support

You’ll also occasionally jump in to support our agency team with:

  • Social media management
  • Scheduling and publishing content
  • Community management
  • Content ideation and research
  • Social trend monitoring
  • Supporting content shoots
  • Capturing iPhone content and behind-the-scenes footage
  • General social and content support across client accounts

How You’ll Be Supported

You won't be expected to figure everything out alone.

You'll work alongside our strategy, account management, content and creative teams and have:

  • Regular content and strategy sessions
  • Access to our existing systems and workflows
  • Support from our videographers and content creators
  • Existing client and internal brand strategies to work from
  • Clear direction on priorities, campaigns and deliverables

At the same time, we want someone who can eventually see an opportunity and run with it without waiting to be told what to do.

What We’re Looking For

  • You genuinely love social media and consume a lot of content
  • You understand what makes short-form content perform
  • You’re naturally good at finding interesting content ideas
  • You understand hooks, pacing, retention and storytelling
  • You’re comfortable editing short-form videos
  • You have experience with CapCut or similar editing software
  • You’re comfortable filming content using an iPhone
  • You’re familiar with Instagram, TikTok and other short-form platforms
  • You’re analytical enough to look at performance and learn from it
  • You’re comfortable testing the same idea multiple ways instead of assuming the first version is the best version
  • You have strong written communication skills
  • You’re organized, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
  • You’re willing to learn, take feedback and improve quickly

Bonus points if you're the person sending your friends Reels and TikToks all day because you saw something and immediately thought, "We should make this."
