Social Media & Personal Assistant

I’m a digital content creator looking for a reliable, creative, organized, and social-media-savvy assistant to help with content production, filming, organization, and occasional personal tasks.

This is a hands-on, varied position for someone who genuinely enjoys TikTok, Instagram, short-form video, food content, aesthetics, photography, and being part of the behind-the-scenes process of creating content.

A large portion of the content is cooking-focused, so many days will involve helping prepare recipes, set up and film content, reset between shoots, and keep everything running smoothly. Other days may involve lifestyle content, filming at public locations, brainstorming ideas, organizing content, or helping with errands and day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Shop for groceries and ingredients needed for recipe content
• Prepare and organize ingredients before filming
• Help set up and organize the kitchen for shoots
• Film cooking and lifestyle content using a phone or camera
• Find flattering camera angles, lighting, framing, and visually appealing shots
• Provide feedback on how content looks on camera
• Reset the kitchen and filming area between recipes
• Handle light cleanup related to filming, including dishes, counters, and floors
• Assist with short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms
• Stay aware of current trends, sounds, formats, and content ideas
• Brainstorm creative concepts, shots, poses, and filming ideas
• Occasionally film at public locations or other filming locations
• Help organize photos, videos, and other content
• Potentially assist with basic video editing as skills develop
• Run occasional personal errands, including pickups, appointments, meals, or travel preparation
• Help with general organization and day-to-day tasks as needed

Some lifestyle content may involve swimwear/bikini outfits, so applicants should be comfortable professionally assisting with and filming this type of social media content.

• Are organized and able to keep a filming day running efficiently
• Are proactive and notice what needs to be done without constant direction
• Are dependable, punctual, discreet, and respectful of privacy
• Are comfortable in a role where responsibilities can change from day to day
• Take direction and feedback well while still bringing your own ideas
• Enjoy both creative work and practical, hands-on tasks

• Styling or aesthetics

Formal experience isn't required if you have a great eye for content and are willing to learn. Personality, reliability, creativity, organization, and attention to detail are extremely important for this position.

What This Job Is Like

This is not a traditional office assistant position. You’ll work closely with a content creator and be involved in the actual behind-the-scenes process of planning, preparing, filming, organizing, and producing social media content.

The right person will be someone who enjoys being hands-on, has a creative mindset, and can help turn ideas into polished content while also handling the practical tasks that keep the day running smoothly.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
