About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join the Marketing & Communications team at Nutrition Depot Philippines. This is a full-time position based in our Ortigas office in Pasig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies that drive engagement, build brand awareness, and support our business objectives. You will be at the forefront of our digital presence, creating compelling content and fostering meaningful connections with our online community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across all relevant platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other emerging channels
• Create, curate, and publish engaging content including text, images, videos, and infographics that align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner
• Analyse social media metrics and performance data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on campaign effectiveness
• Develop and implement paid social media advertising campaigns to increase reach, engagement, and conversions
• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, sales, and product development to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
• Manage social media calendars and content schedules to ensure consistent posting and optimal engagement
• Conduct competitor analysis and industry research to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and growth
• Support community management initiatives and foster positive brand reputation across all social platforms

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related field for a minimum of 2-3 years
• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective algorithms, features, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling, engaging content
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or Google Analytics
• Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, SEO basics, and paid advertising platforms
• Creative thinking and design sensibility with the ability to conceptualise visually appealing content
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software is preferred but not required
• Experience in the nutrition, health, wellness, or retail sectors is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
• Fluency in English and Filipino; proficiency in other languages is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
