About the Role

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Content Assistant to help bring Dumos Home to life on TikTok. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging short-form video content for your assigned store, from brainstorming ideas and filming in-store to editing, submitting videos for approval, and scheduling approved posts. You’ll showcase our furniture, highlight the in-store shopping experience, and create content that builds brand awareness and drives local foot traffic. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves social media, keeps up with TikTok trends, and enjoys turning creative ideas into content that gets people excited about home.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm creative, trend-driven short-form video ideas tailored to your assigned Dumos Home location
• Film and edit engaging TikTok content showcasing furniture, product features, room inspiration, and the in-store shopping experience
• Create consistent, high-quality content that reflects the Dumos Home brand and resonates with local audiences
• Submit completed videos for approval and implement any requested edits
• Upload approved content to our scheduling software and ensure posts are organized and scheduled correctly
• Stay up to date with TikTok trends, sounds, and formats to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging
• Collaborate with store teams to capture new products, promotions, customer experiences, and other content opportunities
• Monitor content performance and use views, engagement, and other insights to inform future video ideas

Requirements

• Experience creating short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or other social media platforms
• Strong understanding of TikTok trends, viral formats, engaging hooks, and social media best practices
• Comfortable filming and editing videos independently using tools such as CapCut or similar editing software
• Creative mindset with the ability to brainstorm fresh content ideas and adapt trends to the Dumos Home brand
• Organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple videos, meet weekly deadlines, and follow an approval and scheduling process
• Willing and able to work on-site at your assigned Dumos Home store for all scheduled working hours
• Comfortable appearing on camera when needed and collaborating with store staff to create engaging content
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn, take feedback, and continuously improve content performance
