Social Media Content Creator

Job Summary:
We are a well-established jewelry brand excited to take on a creative and proactive Social Media & Video Content VA to spearhead the creative side of our digital marketing. The position covers email marketing campaigns, social media ad creatives, short-form video editing, and content creation drawn from a professionally shot seasonal image library. We want someone with strong creative instincts who brings ideas to the table — not someone who waits to be told what to make.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and schedule at least two Mailchimp email campaigns each week, planning as far as a month of campaigns ahead
• Design social media ad creatives for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest from our seasonal image library
• Build engaging short-form content, Reels and TikTok videos included
• Cut promotional videos and short product clips for the website and social channels
• Look over ad and campaign performance and draw up reports with recommendations
• Pitch creative concepts, campaign themes, and content ideas proactively
• Retouch, crop, and optimize images for campaigns and web use
• Team up closely with the creative director on direction, feedback, and final approval

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven track record building content and ad creatives for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok
• Hands-on time with Mailchimp or a similar email marketing platform
• Strong video editing skills for short-form and promotional content
• Proficiency in Photoshop or a comparable image editing tool
• A strong creative eye with the confidence to build and pitch original ideas on your own
• Dependable, precise, and able to work on your own initiative
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback

Preferred Skills:

• Time spent with Final Cut Pro or other professional video editing software
• Grounding in content for fashion, jewelry, beauty, or lifestyle brands
• History of lifting email marketing performance or advising on email platform strategy
• Command of ad performance metrics and reporting
• Capacity to carry several campaigns side by side
