Social Media Content Creator

Snap Shades is a Brooklyn, New York based company that sells magnetic car shades across the US.

We are a looking for a talented social first video creator in California that can work remotely to shoot and edit short form video content for instagram, tiktok and YouTube shorts and Meta ads. Secondary responsibilities will be to create social media posts for sales listings.

We're not looking for polished commercials. We want organic content with quick turn-around that feels authentic, entertaining, and made for social. We are looking for someone who is addicted to social media and understand how to find trending content to create their own version but also are happy to express their individual creativity.

What You'll Do:

• Once a week work with our digital marketing team to discuss what content should be created for seasonal sales
• Create lifestyle content, humor, viral, trending
• Create strong hooks, pacing, cuts, captions, and text overlays
• Edit additional footage captured by our team
• Rent cars on Turo to create new content for specific vehicles

What We're Looking For

• A person who owns their own car, has a good driving record
• Strong experience shooting and editing short-form social content
• Excellent understanding of Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and creative instincts
• Fast, collaborative, reliable, and comfortable working independently
• Based in Los Angeles or San Francisco/Bay Area.
