Ellison Marketing – Wrexham

We’re looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Content Creator to join our growing team at Ellison Marketing.

This is a hands-on content role for someone who enjoys getting out from behind the desk, working directly with clients and creating engaging video, photography and short-form social content.

You’ll work across a wide variety of businesses and organisations, helping us produce fresh, engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other digital channels.

The role

You’ll work alongside our Account Management and Digital Marketing teams to turn ideas into strong social content.

A big part of the role will be short-form video — planning, filming and editing Reels, TikToks, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and other content that feels natural and engaging rather than overly corporate.

You’ll also help capture photography and create day-to-day social content for our clients.

Typical responsibilities will include:

• Filming and editing short-form video for Reels, TikTok and social campaigns
• Taking high-quality photographs for social media and digital marketing
• Visiting clients to capture content on location
• Developing creative ideas and content concepts
• Working with Account Managers to create monthly social content
• Creating Stories, Reels, posts and other social-first content
• Keeping up with social trends, formats and platform developments
• Helping clients become more confident appearing on camera
• Editing content quickly and efficiently for different platforms
• Supporting larger campaigns, events and content shoots
• Reviewing content performance and helping identify what is working

What we’re looking for

Ideally, you'll have:

• Experience creating social media content for businesses or brands
• Strong video filming and editing skills
• A good eye for photography and composition
• Experience producing Instagram Reels and TikTok-style content
• Confidence working directly with clients
• An understanding of what makes people stop scrolling
• Good communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage several different brands and projects
• An interest in emerging social media trends
• Experience using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva or similar

Experience within a marketing agency would be useful but isn't essential.

We want someone who naturally thinks:

“That would make a good piece of content.”

You might spot an opportunity during a client visit, suggest an idea they hadn't considered, grab the camera and turn it into something engaging.

We're looking for someone creative, commercially aware and confident enough to bring ideas to the table rather than simply waiting for a content brief.
