Social Media Content Creator

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Content Creator for a strategic hybrid role: 80% of your time will be dedicated to organic short-form video production to build our community, while 20% will be focused on creating and executing targeted Meta advertising campaigns to drive sales.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish a minimum of 20 high-quality short-form videos per month
• Manage and optimize daily content distribution primarily across TikTok, Instagram (Reels), and Facebook
• Develop, launch, and manage Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns
• Produce compelling ad creatives tailored specifically for user acquisition and conversion
• Effectively differentiate between and produce both brand-building content (educational, aesthetic, engaging) and sales-driven ad content (direct-response, high-converting hooks)
• Write compelling, on-brand English captions and scripts tailored to the distinct algorithms and audience behaviors of each platform

About you

• Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in social media management, video content creation, and digital marketing
• Hands-on experience in Meta ad creation and media buying (Ads Manager)
• Ability to design creatives that convert
• Strong, demonstrated interest in the skincare and beauty sector; familiarity with skincare terminology, routines, and consumer pain points
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken) for scriptwriting, captioning, and community engagement
• Basic proficiency in Chinese language (both written and spoken) for communication purposes
• Proficiency in mobile video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere)
• Strong grasp of current social media trends and viral audio
• Portfolio or links to previous social media video work demonstrating both organic visual aesthetics and successful ad creatives
