Social Media Content Creator (Intern)

ZarraZorra Bakery is looking for a creative Content Creator Intern to support in creating engaging content and growing our brand presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other digital platforms.

This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people and turning creative ideas into engaging content. You will gain hands-on experience in content planning, video production and social media marketing, with guidance and feedback from our team.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation and Planning

• Assist in planning, shooting and editing short-form videos and visual content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms.
• Create content featuring our products, promotions, outlets, team activities and brand journey, following content briefs and guidance.
• Research trending content formats, popular audio tracks and creative ideas that can be adapted to suit company’s brand identity.
• Prepare content ideas and maintain a consistent posting schedule.

2. On-Camera Content

• Appear in social media videos as on-camera talent, presenting our products and brand in a friendly, confident and authentic manner.
• Help capture customer reactions, short interviews and community content by approaching and interacting with customers or outlet visitors respectfully and with their permission.

3. Campaign Support and Content Organisation

• Support in preparing and carrying out monthly content calendars for product launches, seasonal campaigns and promotional activities.
• Complete assigned content within agreed timelines and submit it for review and approval before publication.
• Keep raw footage, photographs and edited content organised for easy access and future use.
• Assist in tracking basic content performance, such as views, engagement and audience responses, and learn how these insights can improve future content.

4. Field Shoots and Learning Activities

• Assist with content shoots at our central kitchen, retail outlets and event locations across Johor Bahru.
• Participate in off-site shoots, event coverage and other content-related assignments when required.
• Take part in relevant training, coaching sessions and content reviews to develop your creative, technical and communication skills.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Digital Media or any related field.
• No prior full-time work experience is required. Experience creating content through personal projects, coursework, student activities or personal social media accounts is welcome.
• A simple portfolio or examples of previous work would be an added advantage.
• Fluent in spoken Bahasa Melayu. Proficiency in English is an added advantage.
• Basic skills in mobile video shooting and editing using CapCut or similar editing tools, with an interest in TikTok, Instagram Reels and social media trends.
• Creative, proactive and organised, with the ability to follow instructions, meet agreed deadlines and work collaboratively.
• Willing to learn and receptive to direction, coaching and constructive feedback.
• Willing to travel for content shoots, training or work assignments when required. Having your own transportation is an added advantage.
