As we continue to grow, we're looking to expand our social media presence through original, engaging short-form video content that increases brand awareness, builds community engagement, and attracts new guests to our parks.

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Content Marketing Intern to help develop and execute our TikTok and Instagram Reels strategy.

This role is ideal for a college student with a strong understanding of social media trends, video storytelling, and content creation. The intern will have an opportunity to take ownership of creative projects, experiment with new content formats, and contribute directly to Elevate's marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce original short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms.
• Film on-site at Elevate locations, capturing employee challenges, guest experiences, events, and other engaging content.
• Edit videos using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
• Research emerging social media trends and identify opportunities to incorporate them into Elevate's content strategy.
• Collaborate with park management and employees to coordinate filming and generate content ideas.
• Assist with maintaining a consistent publishing schedule and content calendar.
• Monitor video performance, including views, engagement, shares, and audience growth.
• Recommend new content concepts and strategies based on performance data.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, digital media, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and current short-form content trends.
• Experience filming and editing short-form videos.
• Creative mindset with an understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Availability to visit Elevate locations in the Phoenix metro area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing or growing a personal, business, or organization social media account.
• Portfolio demonstrating creative video production and editing capabilities.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and performance metrics.
• Experience with content planning, digital marketing, or influencer collaborations.
