About the Position

Nerd Vault Card Exchange is looking for a creative, motivated, and social-media-savvy individual to help grow our online presence and build our brand!

We're looking for someone who can take ideas and turn them into engaging videos, social media posts, and creative content that showcases our trading cards, collectibles, products, and store events.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys TikTok, Instagram Reels, content creation, and digital marketing. Whether you're a student studying marketing or communications, an aspiring content creator, or someone who loves social media and wants hands-on experience, we'd love to hear from you.

The goal is to build a consistent, engaging social media presence that increases brand awareness, attracts new customers, and creates excitement around Nerd Vault Card Exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, film, and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.
• Develop creative content featuring trading cards, product openings, new releases, collectibles, and behind-the-scenes store activities.
• Manage the day-to-day social media posting schedule across our platforms.
• Brainstorm video ideas, trends, promotions, and campaigns to grow our audience.
• Write engaging captions, select hashtags, and create posts that encourage interaction.
• Help promote new product releases, tournaments, prereleases, giveaways, and in-store events.
• Stay up to date on trending sounds, viral videos, and social media strategies.
• Monitor comments and messages and help engage with our online community.
• Track views, engagement, follower growth, and other basic performance metrics.
• Work with store management to develop a consistent brand identity and content strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Creative mindset with an eye for trends and engaging storytelling.
• Comfortable filming videos and editing content using a smartphone or editing software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Interest in trading cards, collectibles, gaming, or pop culture is a plus.
• Experience with CapCut, Canva, or similar tools is helpful.
• Previous professional experience is not required; creativity, initiative, and willingness to learn are important.

Schedule

• Part-time schedule, with hours to be agreed upon.
• Flexible scheduling based on business needs and the candidate's availability.
• Some in-store time will be needed to film products, events, and other content.
• Occasional availability for special releases or events may be beneficial.

Compensation

Compensation and schedule will be discussed with the selected candidate. This position is intended to provide hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing.

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 10.0 per week
