Social Media Content Creator / Workshop Videographer

FORHALLE is a natural textured haircare brand for children and families. We create products that make caring for curly and textured hair feel easier, more enjoyable and less intimidating.

We also run our Soft Society curl workshops, bringing families together to learn, connect and have fun while learning how to care for their children’s curls.

We’re looking for a social-first content creator to join us on a monthly basis and capture the energy of these events.

The role

You’ll attend our monthly workshop and capture plenty of natural, engaging content using your smartphone.

We are NOT looking for someone to produce a polished event film or spend hours editing footage.

We want someone who instinctively understands Instagram Reels, TikTok and social media content and knows how to spot the moments worth capturing.

You’ll film things like:

• Families arriving and getting settled
• Children and parents enjoying the workshop
• Product demonstrations
• Hands-on curl care moments
• Our products being used
• Goodie bags and product details
• Fun candid moments
• Behind-the-scenes content
• Short clips of the workshop host speaking
• Reactions and interactions
• Venue details and atmosphere
• Vertical clips that can be turned into Reels/TikToks
• Quick, natural talking-to-camera clips where appropriate

We want lots of short, usable clips, rather than one long video.

What we're looking for

You don't need expensive camera equipment. In fact, a good smartphone and a strong eye for content are more important to us.

We're looking for someone who:

• Understands social media content
• Knows how to film vertically for Reels/TikTok
• Has a good eye for composition and interesting moments
• Can capture natural, authentic footage without making people feel awkward
• Understands what makes content engaging
• Is comfortable filming around children and families
• Is reliable and punctual
• Can work independently during an event
• Has their own smartphone capable of good-quality video

Editing is not required. We will handle the editing ourselves.

This is a monthly opportunity

We are looking for someone we can build an ongoing relationship with.

Our workshops take place approximately once a month, so this could suit a freelance content creator looking for a regular recurring gig alongside other work.

There may also be opportunities to capture additional FORHALLE content outside of workshops as the brand grows.

Please include in your proposal fixed price rate to cover this event

Pay: From £30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 per week
