Role Description

We are seeking a Social Media (Content) Intern to support content creation and platform growth across BYROE’s social channels. This role involves hands-on collaboration in developing engaging digital content aligned with the brand’s visual identity and storytelling direction.

The intern will assist in creating and scheduling posts, brainstorming creative concepts, analyzing performance data, and supporting digital marketing initiatives. This role offers exposure to real brand-building experience and the opportunity to contribute ideas that shape BYROE’s social presence.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit engaging social media content (video, image, short-form)
• Brainstorm and develop creative content ideas aligned with brand storytelling
• Assist in planning and scheduling content calendars
• Track performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities
• Support audience engagement and community interaction
• Assist with digital marketing campaigns and content initiatives
• Participate in concept development for new product storytelling
• Create content both at home and on location in NYC

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Experience creating social-first content (short-form video, visual storytelling)
• Comfortable appearing on camera for social content
• Strong written and visual communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Creative mindset with willingness to test new formats and ideas
• Interest in skincare, sustainability, and brand storytelling

Preferred Skills

• CapCut
• Lightroom
• Photoshop
• Canva
• Google Drive
• Familiarity with AI creative tools (Midjourney, Higgsfield, etc.)
• Understanding of social media analytics metrics

Work Environment

• Hybrid structure: remote + in-person content creation in NYC Midtown
• Opportunity to create content both indoors and outdoors in NYC settings
