Social Media Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and manage a social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Plan, create, edit and publish engaging content across social media platforms.
• Manage the social media content calendar and ensure consistent posting.
• Define and track important social media KPIs.
• Analyse engagement, reach, audience growth, watch time and retention data.
• Use analytics insights to improve content formats, topics, hooks and posting strategies.
• Research audience preferences, competitors and current content trends.
• Identify emerging trends using tools such as Google Trends, TikTok Creative Center and social-listening platforms.
• Write short-form video scripts with strong hooks, clear messaging and effective calls to action.
• Plan and coordinate photo and video shoots, including storyboards, shot lists, locations, talent and equipment.
• Work closely with copywriters, designers and other marketing team members.
• Manage social media communities by responding to comments, messages, queries and reviews.
• Maintain the design and consistency of social media profiles, cover images and content layouts.
• Build relationships with industry professionals, creators and influencers.
• Suggest campaigns, collaborations, promotions and new content ideas to improve brand awareness
