About the Role

We are looking for a creative and organized Social Media Executive to plan, script, create, and manage content primarily for Instagram and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate will drive the brand's social media presence end-to-end — from ideation and scripting to execution — while occasionally participating in on-camera shoots and coordinating with the creative team (graphic designers and video editors) to bring content to life.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Planning & Strategy

• Plan and maintain a monthly/weekly content calendar for Instagram and LinkedIn
• Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to keep content fresh and relevant
• Align content themes with brand voice, campaigns, and business goals

Scripting & Content Creation

• Write scripts for Reels, videos, and short-form content
• Draft captions, post copy, and LinkedIn articles/posts tailored to platform tone
• Brainstorm creative concepts and content formats (trends, reels, carousels, thought-leadership posts)

Social Media Handling

• Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and publishing across Instagram and LinkedIn
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs, and build community interaction
• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and report insights
• Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and best practices

On-Camera & Shoot Support

• Participate in shoots as required — on-camera presence/acting for Reels, brand videos, or testimonials
• Assist in planning shoot days, locations, and basic shot requirements
• Coordinate props, setup, and continuity during shoots

Team Coordination

• Brief and coordinate with graphic designers for creatives, carousels, and static posts
• Brief and coordinate with video editors for Reels, edits, and video content
• Ensure timely delivery of content by managing timelines across the creative team
• Review and approve final creatives/videos before publishing, ensuring brand consistency

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in social media management (freshers with strong portfolios may apply)
• Strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn content formats and best practices
• Excellent scripting and copywriting skills
• Comfortable being on-camera for shoots
• Basic understanding of shoot planning/coordination
• Ability to manage and coordinate with cross-functional creative teams (designers, editors)
• Familiarity with social media scheduling/analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Canva, etc.)

Good to Have

• Basic video editing or graphic design knowledge
• Prior experience in content creation or influencer collaborations
• A personal portfolio or reel showcasing on-camera/content work
