Social Media Intern

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining the companys social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
• Support the Social Media team in planning and executing monthly/weekly content calendars.
• Research trending topics, hashtags, formats, sounds, and social media trends relevant to the brand and industry.
• Assist in creating engaging content ideas for reels, posts, stories, carousels, and other social media formats.
• Coordinate with the graphic design and video team to get creatives and video content prepared as per the content calendar.
• Write engaging captions, post copies, hooks, and basic social media content.
• Assist in scheduling and publishing posts while ensuring accuracy in captions, creatives, hashtags, tags, and posting timings.
• Monitor social media pages for comments, messages, mentions, and audience interactions and coordinate responses when required.
• Track competitor activities and identify new content opportunities and trends.
• Assist in monitoring social media performance and preparing basic reports on reach, engagement, followers, and content performance.
• Support social media campaigns, brand promotions, contests, and other digital marketing activities.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
• Maintain proper documentation of content calendars, ideas, references, and performance data.
• Work closely with the Social Media Executive/Manager and other departments to ensure consistent brand communication.
• Perform other social media and marketing-related tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
