Social Media Intern

1. ROLE OVERVIEW

Looking for a sharp, detail-oriented, and proactive intern to lead content operations, research, and outreach for a fast-growing personal brand centered around Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Valuation, and Deal Structuring. Working directly alongside CA Ruby Kataria, you will play a central role in driving content strategy, producing engaging videos, and expanding guest networks.

2. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• M&A Research & Fact-Checking: Conduct thorough research on recent corporate M&A deals, private equity trends, valuation metrics, and financial news. Verify all data, regulations, and financial figures prior to content scripting.
• Video Editing & Post-Production: Cut and assemble short-form video content (Reels/Shorts) and long-form podcast clips. Add engaging hooks, captions, graphics, motion overlays, and clean up audio.
• Social Media & Channel Management: Oversee posting schedules across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Craft persuasive captions, select optimal hashtags, tag key stakeholders, and optimize posting calendars.
• Podcast Guest Research & Outreach: Identify high-impact guests, startup founders, investment bankers, and finance leaders. Draft personalized pitch emails/DMs, coordinate schedules, and manage prep briefs.
• Analytics & Audience Engagement: Monitor comment sections for content ideas and lead generation, track post performance metrics, and deliver weekly insights on high-performing topics.
• Trend Spotting: Monitor social media formats, viral finance trends, and algorithm updates to proactively suggest new content series and growth hacks.

3. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Finance & Business Acumen: Background or active studies in Finance, Commerce, or related business fields. Strong foundational understanding or keen interest in corporate finance and M&A concepts.
• Video & Design Tools: Hands-on proficiency with editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with Canva and scheduling tools is a plus.
• Written & Verbal Communication: Excellent written English for crafting guest pitch emails, writing engaging social captions, and assisting with script research.
• Proactivity & Ownership: Ability to work independently, manage multiple ongoing tasks, and consistently meet video publication deadlines.
