Social Media Manager – Fitness & Personal Brand

Position: Part-Time Social Media Manager / Content Manager

Looking for a creative, social-media-savvy person to help manage and grow a fitness/personal brand across Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and post content across Instagram and TikTok
• Turn existing workout, lifestyle, and fitness footage into engaging short-form content
• Edit Reels/TikToks with captions, music, hooks, transitions, and trending formats
• Come up with new content ideas based on current fitness and social media trends
• Write captions and help develop the overall voice of the brand
• Create and maintain a consistent posting schedule
• Repurpose content across different platforms
• Monitor comments, engagement, views, and overall account growth
• Identify which types of content are performing best and adjust the strategy accordingly
• Help grow the accounts organically and turn followers into potential personal-training/fitness clients

Ideal Candidate

• Understands Instagram Reels and TikTok extremely well
• Has experience editing short-form video
• Knows CapCut or similar editing software
• Understands hooks, retention, trends, and what makes people stop scrolling
• Interested in fitness, bodybuilding, health, or lifestyle content
• Creative and comfortable bringing their own ideas to the table
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Bonus if you have previously grown a personal brand or social media account

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. A lot of raw content will already be provided — I’m looking for someone who can help turn that footage into consistent, high-quality content and take ownership of the social media side of the brand.
