Social Media Manager

Role Description

Develop and manage social media strategies that strengthen brand awareness, engage audiences, and support business objectives. Oversee content, community interactions, and performance analysis to maintain a consistent and effective brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop social media plans, content calendars, and campaign schedules.
• Create and coordinate platform-appropriate content with creative teams.
• Manage publishing and maintain consistent brand messaging.
• Monitor comments and messages, respond appropriately, and escalate sensitive issues.
• Track performance and use audience insights to improve content and campaigns.
• Coordinate paid social campaigns, budgets, and testing where applicable.
• Monitor trends and identify relevant opportunities for audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience managing social media accounts and campaigns.
• Strong writing, content planning, and community management skills.
• Understanding of social media analytics and paid advertising.
• Familiarity with publishing, reporting, and content creation tools.
• Creativity, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple channels and collaborate across teams.
