About the role

Seeking a talented and creative Social Media Marketer to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a full-time position based in Ipoh, Perak. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales across all digital platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu). As a Social Media Marketer, you will be at the forefront of our digital presence, creating compelling content and managing our online communities to build lasting relationships with our customers. This position is integral to our digital marketing efforts and directly contributes to our business growth and brand positioning in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and execute engaging social media content calendars across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu.
• Create and curate high-quality, visually appealing content including graphics, videos, copywriting and multimedia assets that resonate with target audiences
• Manage and monitor social media accounts on a daily basis, responding to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Analyse social media metrics and performance data using analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI, providing regular reports and insights to management
• Execute paid social media advertising campaigns, optimising ad spend and targeting to maximise reach and conversions
• Collaborate with outsource marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrated marketing campaigns
• Conduct social listening and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
• Build and nurture online communities through engagement strategies, influencer partnerships and community management initiatives
• Stay current with social media platform updates, algorithm changes and emerging digital marketing trends to keep strategies relevant and effective

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of proven experience working as a Social Media Marketer or in a similar digital marketing role

• Fresh grad with relevant experience are welcome to apply.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing social media platforms with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns

• Strong knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations

• Experience with paid social media advertising on platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads Manager

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging, brand-appropriate content

• Creative thinking and the ability to generate original ideas that capture audience attention

• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

• Proficiency in content creation tools and graphic design software such as Canva, Capcut or equivalent

• Understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to social media marketing

• Fluency in English and Malay; Fluent in Chinese are advantageous

• A passion for staying updated with digital marketing trends and platform best practices
