Social Media / Multimedia Intern

About the Role:

Marham is looking for a creative, energetic, and trend-conscious Social Multimedia Intern to join our media and marketing team. This is a 3-month paid internship with a formal performance evaluation process that offers a direct path to a full-time, permanent job role.

If you have a strong eye for visual storytelling, love creating engaging video content, and know how to hook an audience on social media, this role will give you hands-on experience producing dynamic content for Pakistan’s leading health-tech platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce engaging short-form video content tailored for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
• Apply appropriate pacing, smooth transitions, text overlays, audio sync, and visual effects to make content pop.
• Adapt, format, and optimize core video assets to fit the specifications of different social media platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the social media and content teams to brainstorm fresh video concepts, visual strategies, and campaign ideas.
• Stay updated with viral social media trends, popular audio hooks, and visual formats to experiment with new content styles.
• Deliver creative video assets within designated project deadlines.

Must-Have Criteria & Requirements:

• Video Editing Skills: Demonstrated hands-on experience in editing video content (a portfolio, drive link, or sample work is highly required).
• Platform Understanding: Solid grasp of short-form social media dynamics, visual trends, and engagement hooks on Reels, Shorts, and TikTok.
• Editing Tools: Familiarity with editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Adobe After Effects, or similar desktop/mobile editing suites.
• Creative Eye: Good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, color balance, typography, and layout presentation.
• Adaptability & Mindset: Willingness to learn, experiment with new content styles, and adapt quickly to constructive feedback.
• Teamwork & Communication: Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude to work alongside scriptwriters, social leads, and designers.
