Qualifications/expectations as a Social Services Assistant
- Resident advocacy- act as a liaison between residents, staff and families
- Emotional and psychological support- provide support to people dealing with challenges, anxiety, mental health etc
- Discharge planning- assist residents/families with the transition of going home and having the correct support
- Work with staff to ensure correct care for patients
- All duties assigned by the director
