Social Services Case Worker

Skills and experience:

• Experience working with children, young people, adults and family/whanau
• Eperience working with dynamics of family harm
• Knowledge of child protection issues including risk assessment and safety planning
• Knowledge of current legislation, court and police procedures are desirable
• Knowledge of Youth Justice System would be desirable
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Good knowledge of services within the community

About you:

• 1 – 3 years’ experience working with whanau who have experienced family harm
• Experience working with young people
• Highly motivated
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Able to touch type and comfortable with computers
• Current New Zealand full Driver’s license is a must
