Social Studies Teacher

NJV School Management Board is seeking a qualified, passionate, and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons according to the curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, activities, and learning resources.
• Assess and monitor students’ academic progress.
• Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and active participation.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in academic activities, meetings, and school events.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide timely feedback.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, Education, or a relevant field.
• 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Social Studies concepts and curriculum.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace will be an advantage.

Work Location: In person
