Social Worker

Job Summary

A child care organization in Lipa City, Batangas is looking for a Registered Social Worker to handle case management, documentation, coordination, and welfare monitoring for children under residential care.

The role requires strong documentation skills, compassion, confidentiality, and familiarity with child welfare or DSWD-related processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle case management, assessment, monitoring, and intervention planning for children under care.
• Prepare and maintain case records, social case study reports, progress notes, and other required documents.
• Coordinate with DSWD, LGUs, partner agencies, families, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Assist in admissions, referrals, reintegration, or placement processes.
• Monitor the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
• Support child protection concerns, crisis situations, and sensitive case handling.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of child and family information.
• Support compliance with government requirements and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
• Must be a Registered Social Worker.
• Experience in child welfare, residential care, case management, NGO, shelter, or DSWD-related work is an advantage.
• Fresh board passers may be considered.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Compassionate, organized, emotionally mature, and dependable.
• Willing to work on-site in Lipa City, Batangas.
