Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join our supportive team, undertaking residential parenting assessments and helping families achieve positive outcomes for their children.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive residential parenting assessments using ParentAssess and other recognised frameworks.
• Prepare high-quality initial, midway and final assessment reports within agreed timescales.
• Assess parenting capacity, safeguarding risks, parental strengths and capacity to change.
• Deliver direct parenting sessions and tailored interventions to support families.
• Work collaboratively with Family Support Workers, providing professional guidance and ensuring daily observations inform assessments.
• Attend professionals' meetings, contribute to care planning and provide court evidence when required.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with more than 5 years' post-qualifying experience.
• At least 3 years' experience working in a Court Team or Looked After Children Team.
• Strong safeguarding, analytical and report-writing skills.
• ParentAssess experience desirable but not essential.

We will fully fund ParentAssess training for the successful candidate if required!

Pay: £45,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
