Social worker Field Assistant

We are looking for dynamic and self-driven graduates to join our team as Field Executives in Gangtok, Sikkim. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working on the ground, engaging with schools and community stakeholders, and supporting effective project implementation. The selected candidate should be proactive, dependable, and comfortable traveling within Gangtok and nearby areas of Sikkim.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field visits and collect accurate field information as required for project activities.
• Coordinate with schools, local authorities, community representatives, and other project stakeholders.
• Support the smooth implementation of project activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain field records, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to supervisors.
• Assist in organizing meetings, training sessions, awareness activities, and field events.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with schools, community members, and institutions.
• Identify field-level challenges and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
• Follow project guidelines, maintain professionalism, and represent the organization appropriately during field engagements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willingness to travel within Gangtok and nearby areas as required.
• Must own a laptop and have a stable internet connection.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with a team.
• Camera must remain switched on and screen sharing may be required during working hours, virtual meetings, training sessions, and supervision/check-in activities.

Preferred Skills – Good to Have

• Ownership of a two-wheeler for local travel.
• Familiarity with the local geography of Gangtok and surrounding areas of Sikkim.
• Prior experience working with schools, communities, NGOs, or field-based projects will be an advantage.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
