Your Opportunity:

Individuals referred to the program are mandated to participate in treatment as a result of domestic violence-related charges. The successful candidate will conduct forensic risk screening and assessment using tools and approaches identified by the Clinical Team Lead and grounded in evidence-informed practice. The position will provide individual and group treatment based out of Calgary or Edmonton, guided by the Risk-Need-Responsivity (RNR) model and incorporating additional evidence-informed treatment approaches appropriate to the population. Service delivery will include both in-person and virtual modalities, based on client needs, program requirements, and geographic considerations. The successful candidate must be able to establish therapeutic relationships, facilitate treatment, and complete clinical assessments effectively in both settings. The position will establish and maintain collaborative relationships with justice agencies, community partners, and other professionals involved in client care and management. Strong communication, consultation, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are essential to supporting positive client outcomes and public safety. As part of the broader Forensic Community Programs portfolio, the successful candidate may also contribute to program initiatives, projects, quality improvement, evaluation, education, and other service delivery priorities as required.
