Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview

Were hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join an AI engineering team within our data warehousing organization. Youll build AI agents as well as the foundational tooling and context that enable agents to interact effectively with our data environment. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an engineer who thrives on autonomy and enjoys shaping how AI is applied across a complex data landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop the tools and interfaces that enable agents to interact reliably with the data warehouse environment through clean, complete, and well-governed context.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents that reason over enterprise data and automate meaningful workflows.
• Apply modern agentic patterns - Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), system prompt design, tool/function calling, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure agents are grounded in accurate, well-governed data.
• Communicate clearly with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders and help drive best practices across the team.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic applications.
• Strong working knowledge of core AI/LLM concepts: RAG, system prompts, AI tools/function calling, MCP, and A2A.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-directed, taking ownership of ambiguous problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic applications.
• Strong working knowledge of core AI/LLM concepts: RAG, system prompts, AI tools/function calling, MCP, and A2A.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-directed, taking ownership of ambiguous problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ETL / data pipelines - a significant plus given our data warehousing environment.
• Hands-on AWS experience.
• Background working within or alongside large-scale data platforms and governance frameworks.
