Software & Automation Developer

IF is looking for a Software & Automation Developer - We are looking for a Software Developer with a passion for efficiency to help us streamline our studio's workflow! Your main focus will be developing and deploying automation systems to reduce paperwork and repetitive tasks across both our Front-of-House (Architectural Design) and Back-of-House (Accounting, HR, Project Management) operations. If you love turning manual labor into smart, automated processes, this role is for you!

What We’re Looking For:

·        Experience: 3–4 years of experience in software development, workflow automation, or a related field.

·        Core Coding Skills: Highly proficient in Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

·        Data & Integration: Strong understanding of APIs, SQL Databases, and data management tools (e.g., Power Automate, Excel/VBA).

·        Problem Solver: Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record of effectively transforming manual, repetitive tasks into seamless automated systems.

·        Bonus Skills (Highly Preferred): Experience working with architectural tools like Revit API, Dynamo, or Grasshopper.

What You’ll Do:

·        Design Automation (Front-of-House): Write scripts and plugins for architectural software (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino) to significantly reduce drafting and design time.

·        Back-Office Automation: Create automated workflows connecting financial data, timesheets, HR records, and general office documentation.

·        System & Data Integration: Develop Web Dashboards and connect APIs/Databases to monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources in real-time.

·        User Support: Create concise user manuals and guide team members on how to adopt and maximize these new systems.
