Job Overview

Ambrane India is looking for motivated and technically skilled Software and Hardware Engineers to join its Research and Development (R&D) team. The selected candidates will work on circuit design, PCB development, embedded firmware programming, prototype testing, debugging, and production support for power banks, chargers, and other consumer electronic products.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in electronics, embedded systems, and hands-on product development who are eager to contribute to the complete product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities1. Hardware Design and Development

• Design, analyze, and review electronic circuits for power supplies, battery charging systems, sensors, LEDs, motors, and fans.
• Assist in schematic design, PCB layout, and hardware development activities.
• Support component selection and evaluation in coordination with the R&D and procurement teams.
• Work with analog and digital electronics, power management circuits, and battery-related applications.
• Assist in hardware prototyping, circuit modifications, and design validation.

2. Embedded Software and Firmware Development

• Develop, test, and debug embedded C firmware for microcontrollers such as 8051, STM32, and ESP32.
• Interface with sensors and peripherals using communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and SPI.
• Implement and test ADC, PWM, GPIO, and other microcontroller functionalities.
• Use development environments such as Keil, STM32CubeIDE, and Arduino IDE.
• Apply basic Python programming for testing, automation, and other technical tasks where required.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to identify and resolve firmware-related issues.

3. Testing, Debugging, and Validation

• Assemble and test electronic prototypes using multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, and other testing equipment.
• Perform hardware and firmware debugging to identify faults and improve product performance.
• Conduct functional testing and assist with product validation.
• Support prototype testing, design verification, and troubleshooting during product development.
• Maintain test results and assist in resolving technical issues identified during testing.

4. Product Development and Production Support

• Support new product development from initial concept and prototyping through testing and production.
• Assist with pilot production, hardware troubleshooting, and firmware deployment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address design and manufacturing issues.
• Maintain firmware versions, circuit diagrams, test reports, and technical documentation.
• Follow established quality, safety, and product development procedures.

Required Skills and QualificationsEducational Qualification

• B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics.
• Knowledge of embedded C programming and microcontroller-based systems.
• Familiarity with 8051, STM32, ESP32, or similar microcontrollers.
• Understanding of UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, PWM, and GPIO interfaces.
• Basic knowledge of circuit design, PCB design, power supplies, and battery charging circuits.
• Familiarity with tools such as Keil, STM32CubeIDE, Arduino IDE, or equivalent development platforms.
• Hands-on experience with soldering, circuit assembly, testing, and debugging.
• Ability to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and laboratory power supplies.
• Basic Python programming knowledge is an advantage.
• Understanding of firmware debugging, prototype validation, and technical documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience in embedded systems, electronics hardware, firmware development, or product R&D.
• Freshers with strong academic projects, internships, or hands-on experience in embedded systems and electronics may also apply.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work on practical hardware and software challenges.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work from the company's New Delhi office.
