Software and System Developer Officer

We are looking for an Systems & Software Development Officer with knowledge and experience in restaurant technology systems. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting the restaurant’s POS system, CCTV system, accounting system/software, computers, network, and other business applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the restaurant’s computer systems and software.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot software and computer equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the POS (Point-of-Sale) system, including POS terminals, receipt printers, cash drawers, and related equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the CCTV/security camera system, including DVR/NVR and recording equipment.
• Support and maintain accounting systems and accounting software.
• Assist the accounting team with system and software-related issues.
• Troubleshoot computer, printer, internet, Wi-Fi, and basic network problems.
• Manage user accounts, system access, passwords, and permissions.
• Perform system updates, maintenance, and data backups.
• Check that POS, CCTV, accounting, and other restaurant systems are working properly.
• Provide technical support and assistance to restaurant staff and management.
• Coordinate with software/POS vendors and external IT technicians when necessary.
• Keep records of IT equipment, software, and system configurations.
• Ensure systems and important business data are properly secured and backed up.
• Provide basic training to employees on POS and other software systems.
• Respond quickly to technical problems that may affect restaurant operations.
• Perform other IT and system-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related course.
• Experience in IT support, systems, software, POS, or restaurant technology is preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, and security cameras.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and accounting software.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, printers, networking, and Wi-Fi.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to assist restaurant employees.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required by restaurant operations.

Required Knowledge

Systems: Computer systems, network, user access, backups, system maintenance

Software: Business applications, restaurant software, Windows, office applications

POS: POS setup, troubleshooting, reports, receipt printers, cash drawers, and POS peripherals

CCTV: CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, recording, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting

Accounting: Accounting systems/software, reports, user access, and basic troubleshooting

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
