Our Sofia Engineering Center contributes to the development of advanced electronic solutions including inverters, pumps, thermal management modules, power electronics and intelligent control systems across mobility, industrial, aerospace, aviation and next-generation technology markets.

Mission Of The Role Define the software architecture and technical roadmap for automotive ECUs supporting Electric Water Pumps (EWP), Electric Oil Pumps (EOP), E-Compressors, Comfort Systems (Sunroof, Window Lift, Seat), Steering Systems (EPS, SbW) and Braking Systems (ABS, ESC, EHB, Brake-by-Wire). Lead the software engineering organization toward reusable, scalable and compliant software platforms.

Main Responsibilities

• Define software architecture and layering (Vehicle Dynamics SW, Application SW, Middleware, BSW, MCAL);
• Define reusable software frameworks and interfaces;
• Lead architecture reviews and technical governance;
• Support RFQs and software effort estimation;
• Define coding rules and software reuse strategy;
• Ensure ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434 and AUTOSAR compliance;
• Mentor Software Team Leaders and senior software engineers.

Required Competencies

• Embedded Software Architecture, Embedded C/C++, AUTOSAR, RTOS, SysML, Design Patterns, Software Reuse, Automotive ECU Architecture;
• Master degree in Electronics;
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Automotive industry.
