Software Architect

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to join our Architecture team in Tunis and work closely with our Architecture team in Paris.

The Software Architect will collaborate closely with both Architecture and development teams to design and evolve modern, scalable and reliable software solutions, providing architectural guidance and helping teams make the right technical decisions from design through implementation.

The role combines strong expertise in software architecture, distributed systems and cloud-native technologies with solid knowledge and practical experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI, including LLM integration, RAG, MCP, tool calling, prompt engineering and agent orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

Solution & Software Architecture

• Design scalable, resilient and maintainable software architectures.
• Design microservices and distributed architectures using appropriate architectural and design patterns.
• Define API architectures, including REST and GraphQL.
• Design event-driven architectures and messaging solutions using technologies such as Kafka.
• Define architecture principles, patterns, technical standards and reference architectures.
• Drive architecture decisions and ensure alignment with the existing enterprise ecosystem.
• Support teams in making appropriate architecture trade-offs around scalability, resilience, performance and maintainability.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their relevance for enterprise applications.

Cloud & Cloud-Native

• Support the design of cloud-native applications using containers and orchestration platforms such as Docker / Podman and Kubernetes / OpenShift.
• Guide teams on scalability, resilience, observability, CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.

Generative AI & Agentic AI

• Work with development teams to design and integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Provide architectural guidance on LLM integration, RAG, MCP, tool calling, AI agents, agent orchestration and multi-agent patterns.
• Support teams in applying prompt and context engineering and in using Agentic AI frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework (MAF), LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent.
• Help teams evaluate architectural options and trade-offs, including when to use traditional software solutions, deterministic workflows, LLMs or Agentic AI.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including experience in software architecture.
• Strong expertise in Software Architecture, Design Patterns, Microservices and Distributed Systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET / C#.
• Good experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, Kafka and messaging technologies.
• Good knowledge of Cloud and Cloud-Native architectures, Docker / Podman, Kubernetes / OpenShift and CI/CD.
• Good knowledge and practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs and Agentic AI.
• Practical understanding of Prompt & Context Engineering, RAG, MCP, Tool Calling, Agent Orchestration and Multi-Agent architectures.
• Experience with at least one AI/Agentic framework such as Microsoft Agent Framework, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or equivalent.
• Good understanding of AI-augmented software development and AI coding assistants.
• Ability to understand complex systems, make pragmatic architecture decisions and provide technical guidance to development teams.
