Software Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Architect with strong expertise in API architecture, frontend frameworks (React and Angular), and backend technologies, including .NET and Node.js. The role requires hands-on architectural leadership and the ability to prepare Scope of Work (SOW) documents, effort estimations, and detailed technical solution designs, while collaborating with US-based stakeholders. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead scalable application architectures

• Define API-first architecture using REST/GraphQL and microservices principles

• Architect and guide frontend solutions using React and Angular

• Design and oversee backend systems using .NET and/or Node.js

• Provide architectural guidance for AWS/Azure-based deployments

• Drive DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation

• Prepare detailed Scope of Work (SOW), including:

• Functional and non-functional requirements

• Architecture diagrams and technology stack definitions

• Effort estimation, timelines, and milestones

• Assumptions, dependencies, and risk assessments

• Participate in pre-sales activities and client technical discussions (UK time zone)

• Guide engineering teams and conduct architecture and code reviews

• Ensure best practices in security, scalability, performance, and maintainability

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of overall software development experience
• Proven experience as a Software / Technical Architect
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET and Node.js
• Strong experience in React and Angular frontend architecture
• Strong database expertise in SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of microservices and API design
• Experience preparing SOWs, estimations, and technical documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
