About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Software Architect with a strong Java background, proven engineering leadership, and proficiency in AI-assisted software development.

The ideal candidate will lead architectural decisions, guide engineering teams, and leverage modern AI tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining full ownership of technical quality, security, and production deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Lead engineering teams, mentor developers, and drive architectural and technical decisions.
• Architect microservices, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Establish engineering standards covering code quality, security, performance, testing, and maintainability.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development workflows across design, coding, testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Critically evaluate AI-generated implementations and take full technical ownership of their correctness, security, quality, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, business-aligned technical solutions.
• Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, technical debt, and scalability challenges.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience, including significant hands-on Java development.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and making architectural decisions.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of system design, design patterns, SOLID principles, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Practical proficiency with AI coding assistants and development agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent tools.
• Demonstrated ability to review, validate, and take full responsibility for AI-generated code and technical solutions.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, align cross-functional teams, and drive decisions through effective collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building high-availability fintech or enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience establishing AI-assisted engineering workflows and improving team productivity.
• Knowledge of secure AI adoption, data privacy, and responsible use of AI development tools.
