Software Asset Management Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) Consultant with strong expertise in Flexera Administration and Software Asset Management operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAM tools, software licensing compliance, audit support, and software optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Flexera for day-to-day Software Asset Management operations.
• Execute SAM engagements including current-state assessments, software license reviews, and optimization initiatives.
• Analyze software license agreements, deployments, and entitlement data to determine effective license positions.
• Support software compliance audits and provide license optimization recommendations.
• Evaluate SAM processes, tools, and organizational maturity to identify improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver SAM-related insights.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Support Tier-1 software publisher licensing assessments and compliance management activities.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Strong hands-on experience as a Flexera Administrator.
• Experience working with SAM tools such as Flexera and/or ServiceNow SAM.
• Good understanding of software licensing, compliance rules, and audit management.
• Exposure to Tier-1 publisher licensing analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
