Job Summary: This role is for a senior software engineer focused on building and maintaining the data platform for a satellite internet constellation. You will be responsible for developing robust data pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and optimizing database performance to handle high-volume telemetry data. The position requires a deep understanding of production software development and distributed systems to support critical operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Manage and automate AWS infrastructure using code.
• Design and optimize large-scale databases for telemetry data.
• Build backend services and APIs for data access.
• Ensure data quality and troubleshoot production issues.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and Java for production environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data processing services and IaC.
• Expertise in SQL and database performance tuning for large datasets.

Industry Experience: This role requires experience in the aerospace or telecommunications industry, specifically with high-volume telemetry and data platforms.
