Software Developer

IIAM Health is seeking a Software Developer (SOC Code: 15-1252.00) to create, validate, and integrate AI/ML solutions across multiple medical specialties. This role will work with clinical data and modern machine learning approaches, including centralized and federated learning, while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and improve LLM and machine learning algorithms for clinical applications
• Build and maintain centralized and federated ML workflows
• Validate, test, and optimize existing models
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant training datasets and data pipelines
• Develop data analysis pipelines and visualizations
• Support integration of ML pipelines with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, and SQL
• Experience with Python ML/NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, and NumPy
• Familiarity with federated learning techniques (e.g., FedHess, FedH2L)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Interest in applying AI/ML to clinical data

Nice to Have

• Experience working with clinical data, EMR/EHR systems, or HIPAA-compliant environments
• Experience developing or deploying LLMs and NLP applications
• Familiarity with medical and enterprise data standards and interoperability

Other Requirements

• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America

Pay: $68,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
