Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review progress, and adapt development strategies efficiently.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications by troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance on platforms including Linux, Windows, AWS, and Azure.
• Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices in software development and version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git.
• Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom solutions leveraging cloud services such as AWS and Azure for scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation efforts, and testing procedures to ensure high standards of quality across all deliverables.

Experience

• Proven experience in web development, application development, or software engineering roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL and SQL Server; experience with database design and management is essential.
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks and technologies including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern libraries or frameworks like React or Angular is highly desirable.
• Practical experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Java, C++, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, or VBA for automation tasks.
• Strong understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), REST principles, and integration techniques.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies using tools like GitHub or SVN for version control; knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments; familiarity with.NET framework and application development on Windows is advantageous.

Pay: $78,548.59-$144,176.28 per year
