Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance .NET applications.
• Develop applications using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
• Integrate AI APIs and AI-based services into applications.
• Develop web components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Develop and optimise SQL Server databases, queries, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
• Use Entity Framework/EF Core and LINQ for data access.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Use Git, GitHub, and/or Azure DevOps for source control.
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications hosted on IIS Server.
• Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues.
• Support and continuously improve IGRIS and other GQS software applications.
• Identify and implement new technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve systems and processes.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and provide regular progress updates.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Good knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework/EF Core, LINQ, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and/or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of IIS deployment and production support.
• Experience with third-party API and AI API integration will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Candidates with experience in enterprise/business application development will be preferred.
