Software Developer

Role Description This full-time, on-site Software Developer role is based in Salé, Morocco. The Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain back-end software components and web services that support business applications. The role involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as analysts, testers, and project managers. The Software Developer will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical design discussions, and help optimize system performance and reliability. The role also includes maintaining existing applications, implementing enhancements, and following established development standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and software engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, including experience across the software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP concepts in practical projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
• Experience with common back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, .NET, Node.js, or similar) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL; exposure to Agile or similar methodologies is beneficial.
