Job Overview

We are looking for a Software Developer to support the development and maintenance of technology solutions for our FinTech and cross-border payment services. The role will contribute to software applications and backend systems supporting cross-border remittances, multi-currency accounts, e-wallets, and digital account services. You will work closely with product, engineering, operations, and compliance teams to build reliable and scalable solutions that support secure financial transactions and customer-facing digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting FinTech and payment services
• Develop and enhance backend services and application features for cross-border payment and remittance products
• Support systems related to multi-currency accounts, e-wallets, and digital account services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in accordance with engineering standards
• Integrate internal applications with payment platforms, financial systems, APIs, and third-party services
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations for internal and external applications
• Troubleshoot software issues, investigate system errors, and implement appropriate fixes
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimisation
• Work with product and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, DevOps, operations, and compliance teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Monitor application performance and assist with identifying potential reliability and scalability issues
• Maintain technical documentation, system specifications, API documentation, and development records
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality and engineering best practices
• Support system deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and production issue resolution
• Follow applicable security, data protection, risk management, and internal technology policies when developing financial applications
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technology platforms and digital financial services

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 2–5 years of experience in software development, application development, backend development, or a related engineering role
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C#
• Good understanding of software development principles, databases, APIs, and system integration
• Experience developing or maintaining web applications, backend services, or distributed systems
• Familiarity with SQL and relational or NoSQL database technologies
• Understanding of REST APIs, authentication, system integration, and application security
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, Git, or container technologies is an advantage
• FinTech, payment services, digital banking, e-wallet, remittance, or financial technology experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to software quality and reliability
• Able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good communication and documentation skills in English
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment

Working Arrangement

• Full-time position based in Singapore
• Work within a FinTech and digital financial services environment
• Support technology platforms for cross-border payments, remittances, multi-currency accounts, e-wallets, and digital account services
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, compliance, risk, and business teams
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements and development through testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Exposure to payment technology, financial APIs, digital financial products, and regional technology projects

Pay: $5,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
