Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. Oracle Database

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 19c/12c/11g.

Knowledge of tables, views, indexes, sequences, synonyms, constraints and database objects.

2. SQL & PL/SQL

Advanced SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs and analytical functions.

Development of Procedures, Functions, Packages, Cursors and Triggers.

Dynamic SQL and exception handling.

3. Performance Tuning

SQL query optimization and execution-plan analysis.

Index optimization and statistics management.

Troubleshooting slow-running queries and database performance issues.

4. Database Design

Database schema design and normalization.

Primary/foreign keys, relationships and constraints.

Understanding of ER diagrams and data modelling.

5. Data Management & Migration

Data migration, bulk data processing and data validation.

Experience with Oracle Data Pump (EXPDP/IMPDP) and SQL*Loader.

Handling large-volume datasets.

6. Database Troubleshooting

Identification and resolution of Oracle errors.

Knowledge of locks, blocking sessions, deadlocks and transaction management.

Debugging and maintenance of PL/SQL code.

7. Database Security

User and role management.

GRANT/REVOKE privileges and basic database security concepts.

Education

UG: B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Experience

:

10+ years development experience with Oracle Database version 9i /10g / 11g /12c

Manage all phases of the SDLC from analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance.
